Let’s talk about the lessons learned from program. What was the significance of the training?
Byambadagva.B: In this project we have attented training program to Improve capacity of law enforcers and improve relations between law enforcing organizations who fight against crime of domestic violence on march 3rd to 10th in Washington, United States of America. Delgermunkh.D: We visited Domestic Violence Clinic, George Washington University . Students who work in this training center could directly contact the victim. There are 30 students applying the to enroll this training in each semester of school year, and only 12 to 14 students could enroll clinic training, gain lawyering knowledge. One of the features is that in Washington D.C there are laws on students represented in court. Prior to beginning of the school year, students could apply for the right to represent in court. But, in this situation, licensed lawyer must attend the trial together. Students do tasks that include preparing paperwork, summon witnesses, and professor will check it afterwards.
Byambadagva.B: They mainly concentrate into protect witnesses and victims in domestic violence, also in civil procedure they provide informations about violence maker’s appearance and temper. To prevent crime of domestic violence, they will announce this information to the public. Hollywood stars cooperate in this matter and raise sounds together. There are 20 victims of violence crime in one minute within the whole of the United States. According to research from United Nations, every one of three women is experiencing body violence. They say law enforcers attitude towards crime of domestic violence have changed during trainings organized step by step.
What kind of useful experience could use in our country?
Byambadagva.B: There are numbers of events occurred in United States to protect women’s right, and they improved their legal environment. The police officers attend court testimony is a good experience. Also, the organizations that protect domestic violence to provide introduction of their organization, and related phone numbers to the victims on the basis of items such as napkin boxes, dry whisk, to victim. So that prevents violence maker to erase the information. The prosecutors and judges solve only one type of crime every 2 years.
B. Byambhuva: In the United States, since 1970’s, women's rights protection movements have led to the failure of the victim to blame, violate the perpetrators' responsibilities, and change the rules of the joint team. The police also ask for a question of domestic violence and when arriving on the scene. It is the court's decision to decide what protective measures are to be taken. It was a good experience when the police took part in the trial and gave witness statements. In addition, domestic violence and victim protection agencies are required to present their organization's identities and related phone numbers to the victim on the basis of items such as a napkin box, dry nails and so on. The attacker did not notice this, and prevented the contact information from destroying it. Also, the prosecutors and judges have been working on two types of disputes and two or more years of working experience. Victims of psychological assistance and training after the domestic violence Court trial.
- Did you see the prosecutor's training institution?
A.Delgermunkh: The training of prosecutors in Washington DC is administered by Aequitas. It is a non-profit public organization and is funded by the state. The prosecutor chooses his / her training courses and submits his / her training to the prosecutor for his / her training plan.
B.Byambajiva: The United States is committed to protecting victims of domestic violence and restricts the right to a civil service for a term of up to 1 year, protects the victim, abuses the perpetrators of guns and seizes the gun. Also, the marriage is confirmed by the court and the court cancels. The only reason is that the arrest and restriction of the right may not make any decisions. When approving the law in the United States, the law is promulgated and is approved by the budget.
